New Wheels!

I apologize for my major lack of blogging! Life with Eloise proves to be much more busy! Charlotte and I took advantage of this amazing warm Fall day to play outside on her new tricycle! I bought this while I was pregnant with her (aka: impulse shopping at LL Bean) and I am so happy she is ready to use it! While she does not quite understand the pedals, she knows its a pretty pink toy to sit on and she loves it!
In Eloise news, she is days away from being three months old and is a puny ten pounds! The doctor said she is healthy and beautiful, just very petite.
She has amazingly small feet, so last night I got curious and pulled out Charlotte's hospital footprint. At three months, Eloise's foot has just caught up to Charlotte's one day old footprint! These girls are my joy every day and we are just so lucky to have them. Now that we have settled into life with two under two, I really cannot express how happy we are and how much fun these little girls are! Makes me still want one more!

Little Red Wagon

She is starting to look like me as a baby!

The weather has been unseasonably warm these days so we are trying to take advantage of it when we can! One of Charlottes new favorite things is her Radio Flyer Wagon! It cracks me up that it is called the "Town and Country" as well. She adores being dragged all over the driveway and yard in it; the bumpier the ride the better.
We spent some nice sunny family time enjoying watching Charlotte discover her new ride. Warm November days are hard to come by! I am, however, very much looking forward to snow and the holidays!

Margot and Charlottes Little Adventure

We finally had the wonderful pleasure of meeting little Baby Margot yesterday! Claudia and I were pregnant at the same time and Margot came a few months after Charlotte. I have been admiring pictures of Margot and we finally set up a date to meet. I was a tad overzealous thinking that Mt Tom State Park was a great place to meet up, but it just turned us all into little popsicles! That is ok though, we had a fun time catching up and photographing the girls. Ben took the opportunity to come with us and go fly fishing!
I had so much fun taking her picture because she is extremely photogenic. I am quickly learning that I absolutely adore photographing babies. Perhaps a new hobby or side job? Claudia and her husband also have an amazing blog, Ferret and Hound, showing their journey of building their amazing home! Check it out to see all of their beautiful work.

The Conklins at Compo Beach

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the whole Conklin Family, Christine, Ahren and baby Aurora. They trusted my photography skills enough to take a family photo shoot..thanks guys! We had a wonderful time with the girls. Charlotte sat patiently in her stroller while we took pictures and she really enjoyed herself. The perfect end to the beach visit was playing on the swings and the whale!

Little Audrey Hepburn...

Happy Birthday Charlotte!!!

The day has come...our baby is one today!
We went to our fitness center this morning in costume for the little kiddie parade and everyone just ate her up. I have had some instances lately where women stop me on the street or grocery store and tell me how flawless she is. One woman said the other day "OH that is the most perfect baby I have ever seen, and I have four kids!" Not much can top that. She continues to dazzle us every day.
We continued the festivities by taking her to our favorite sushi restaurant, where she loves the staff and they love her. It was a perfect evening, and we, as Mom and Dad, got to toast to her first year.
Looking back it was a pretty wild year. Filled with good and bad, the arrival of Charlotte has completely changed our outlook on life and, though cheesy sounding, we could not be happier. Charlotte is a daily reminder to live each day as best you can, stop to slow down so life does not pass by too fast, and love and cherish your time together.
Happy Birthday, to our sweet little "plumpa-goose"!
