un, deux...trois!

Another beautiful photo shoot by Alexis Stein Photography! We are merely TEN days away from the big day and we are so excited! Words cannot really express the joy and peace I feel knowing she is on her way. However, these photos capture the essence of all of our joy!

31 Week Belly!

Major bravo to Benjamin, who took my favorite pregnancy photo of me ever, the top photo in this post. I took the others, but with his assistance, I now have an all time favorite. This has been a splendid Memorial Day. The only glitch to the day is that I forgot my camera...HOW did I let that happen? Luckily, my Dad was there and he had his camera, to which he added an even more amazing lens and now I have lens envy. There was a touching ceremony before the parade at the firehouse. A war veteran was the keynote speaker and brought many people to tears; click here. I absolutely love the parade and watching Ben march. Of course, with the pregnancy hormones, when Ben passed Charlotte, who was in awe, I teared up! I have absolutely no emotional swings with pregnancy, however, when something makes me happy I cannot hold back the tears. I am probably the happiest preggo I know and I love every single moment. I actually think the hormones make me unusually happy and full of joy...which pregnancy should do!
Time is now flying by, with our planned c-section date at the end of July!
I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather here in the Northeast!

Five Month Tummy

I feel as though I finally have some resemblance of a pregnant belly! As you can see, my "bare" shots are very apparent, but in full clothes, I still do not pop much! Those who know me, know I wallow in the joys of a large pregnant tummy....so this is still the waiting period for me. With Charlotte I got happier the bigger I got. With this pregnancy, I feel I have a smaller tummy than last time, which is the opposite of how it should be.
I have a big love of taking self portraits, so I am mastering the self belly portraits!
Ben and I went to Westport this past Monday to enjoy the first glimpse of spring (many more pics will be coming soon of the beach trip).
Just last night was the very first time she kicked hard enough for Ben to feel it too! It is such a thrill feeling baby movements on your own, but it reaches a whole new level when you can share them with your spouse. Of course, she follows the same exact pattern as Charlotte of kicking like crazy and then the moment Ben puts his hand to feel, she stops!
